BIO

Howard Jackson Curry is a singer-songwriter from Jacksonville, Florida. His songs are often stories that have the feel of Americana, Roots and Folk-Country music. His earliest memories are of listening to songwriters such as Hank Williams (Luke The Drifter), Don Gibson, and Jimmy Webb on the record player and the radio. Later he discovered Ronnie Van Zant, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Guy Clark, and Jeff Tweedy. All of these amazing artists have influenced his music.

Howard hosted the “That Dirt Road Radio Show” podcast featuring artists from the past and present. He took a break from the show in 2019 to pursue his own music.

His single "Dirt Road" was released on the Town Farm Records label in 2019. He played the 2019 Mississippi John Hurt Festival in North Carrollton Mississippi.

Howard's first EP, "Hero Today Villain Tomorrow" was released in August, 2021.
